The MnCAV Ecosystem aims to inform and engage communities through demonstrations and other public-facing events. Additionally, MnCAV Ecosystem initiatives are helping to build the future workforce by educating students in CAV-related disciplines through K-12 and university curricula and experiential opportunities.

Career Pathways Camp

The CAV Career Pathways Camp is a week-long day camp that introduces high school students to CAV technologies and career opportunities.

HBCU Conference

The University of Minnesota’s Center for Transportation Studies partnered with the Center for Connected and Automated Transportation (CCAT) in hosting its second annual Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Conference in September 2023.

Drive MN was a four-day, 1,000+ mile driving tour that brought connected and automated vehicles to communities across Minnesota.
